OMG! My son was rejected
Rejected
Accepted!!! And I was selected for the Summer Science Program (SSP). This is turning out to be a great day!!!
BTW I was WOW (Windows on Williams) participant.
Congrats to all!!!
rejected
Waitlisted
Congrats, all who got accepted.
Accepted. Also selected for the Summer Science Program and Summer Humanities and Social Sciences Program. Congrats to all who were accepted! To those who weren’t, don’t sweat it, this was extremely competitive and there aren’t enough spots for everyone. This decision shouldn’t be a reflection of who you are as a person. I’m sure you will have great schools that will be excited to have you.
if i got rejected by williams does this mean that ivy s will reject me too?
Accepted! Good Luck to everyone
waitlisted the letter says they had a 5.7% acceptance rate… that’s crazy considering other years was like 22%
was anyone here a participant of WOW? bc i was and they made it seem like we were guaranteed a spot but obvs not the case
Accepted! And I think the rate is 12.1%, still a big drop though. [To be one of the 1,150 students selected for admission is no small feat; you should be extremely proud of the work you’ve done. That work made you stand out among the 9,500 candidates in our applicant pool this year…]
That is a big drop. Any explanation for why they admitted 100 fewer than last year (1253)? Did they go to ED more this year? Their yield actually fell a bit slightly from what it usually is, so it’s not as if they overenrolled…
@ednutnika
I was a WOW participant and got in.
@andyarrgz Where do you see 5.7%? I got around 12%
I got in!! I can’t believe it aaah I’m actually moving to the US for college now
Rejected lol
@ednutnika
WOW participant here and accepted. Also selected for the Summer Science Program and Summer Humanities and Social Sciences Program
Rejected :-bd
@kassh4 @SouvlakiHotelFoxtrot the waitlist letter says “the committee considered the candidacy of more than 9,500 students for a total of 550 spots in the class…” so, putting that into the calculator gives 5.7% … but i realize they probably accept more than 550 bc of yield issues so it’s probably higher than 5.7% (probably around 12%) but that’s still so much lower than the ~22% of other years
