Virginia Tech is number one on my list at the moment... might be a bit of a reach... but... hey... reaches may be attainable...

VT Majors of Interest: Industrial Engineering, Marketing & Operations Management.

But get this! I don't know if everyone in the data I'm about to present to you got into say... the ENGINEERING program which is their flagship major aside from one person... who's probably the one with the 4.0 GPA.

This set of data is the acceptance history of graduates of my school who've been accepted to Virgnia Tech from the past two school years (08, 09). Now I can get this information for any school, as long as at least one person from my school was accepted there. I hope your schools have this, too. It's an interesting tool.

And apparently, one point is missing on these scattergrams because our acceptance history (which I found on another part of this website) is 5/5, not 4/4 as you would think based off of this graph.

Also, that 3.053 is the cumulative from my first two years. I got a 3.4-something my junior year which hasn't been put onto the website yet, but if it was, would bump my GPA up to 3.1-something or 3.2 even. And as you can see, my SAT scores were higher than everyone who got in, and my GPA was higher than one of the applicants who were admitted... And I know for a fact that the person (don't know who it is) isn't there on an athletic scholarship because no one from my school's gone D-1A in a sport in years, if not, history.

So... with the data presented.. and assuming I get great recommendations & write a high quality essay... what would you peg my chances at? and also chance me on I were to apply ED.

Thanks.
