Wins

Anyone know the qualifications needed to be invited to join Womans in Natural Science Honors Program?

I made a post about this too imacrazyscientist. You are talking about the WINS Honors Residential Program right? I was invited to apply to that, but I haven't been admitted to UT yet and I'm pretty sure my application didn't even get admitted to CoNS hahah LAME.

But I did send in an application. Do you know of any info about it? Have you been admitted to UT yet?

ooo you are supposed to send in an application?

Q: How do I apply for the WINS Honors Residential Program?

A: Students admitted to The University of Texas at Austin who qualify for this program are sent a letter of invitation during the final months of their senior year in high school (usually in April). If you receive a letter of invitation and wish to join the program, you must have an on-campus housing contract and you must register for NSC 115.

Yes there is an application. I got the link to it in an email. Here is the link:

^ go to the very end of the page.

Do you know what this means (regarding being admitted to UT) if we were recruited for WINS? At first, I thought it might be a good sign, but now I am not so sure...

Hey, just to update I just got another email from the woman in charge of WINS. They are currently reviewing applications, so I am not sure if you can still apply. Call or email her. Maybe you can still apply.

She also said that do not worry about that 3/14 Housing Deposit/Contract deadline for WINS no longer applies because Housing is apparantly being super slow this year. Well, it would help if I could be admitted already and even be eligible for a housing contract haha :(

Well, I applied for this program as well. Is anyone aware of when results will be out? Also, since its an honors residential program, do we still get to choose our roommates?
