<p>My friend did not apply to UCSC for Fall 2009.</p>
<p>She was accepted at UCR, and decided she wants to try and attend UCSC as soon as she can.</p>
<p>We looked on the website and they do offer Winter Admission for lower division transfers.</p>
<p>Should she take classes at our local community college or attend UCR?</p>
<p>and can she transfer after one quarter, or will it take longer?</p>
