So I screwed myself up the butt pretty badly this spring quarter. I was accepted into UCLA for economics, but I messed up and had to drop my calculus 1C class and so I'm pretty sure I'll be rescinded since it was stated specifically in my provisional agreement that I needed to receive at least a B in the class to fulfill my requirements. This will probably mess up my chances with UCSD, as well. Anyways, if I didn't get into both schools (very likely), I wanted to do winter TAG for UCSD. With that said, I was wondering what most people did during their fall quarter while waiting to get into the winter quarter. I actually wanted to move down to the SD area and probably do a semester at Mesa College or something to get acquainted to the area. I just wanted to know if that was a normal thing to do. Also, would it be weird to try and find a place to live with UCSD kids since I'll be going to UCSD for the winter? I don't know how difficult it would be to move into an apartment in the La Jolla area during the winter quarter rather than just doing so initially during the fall quarter while I'm attending Mesa. But yeah, I'm bumming hard and just trying to move on with my future. I decided that I'll take this course instead of waiting another year to get into UCLA and probably thinking of attending there for graduate school. Thinking about it, La Jolla is a great place; I just hope the social scene in UCSD isn't as bad as most people make it out to be -_-;; Anyways, any advices/suggestions/comments would be much appreciated by you guys. Oh and if there is anyone planning to do the same, I am so down to find a place with you if you're in the same situation.
