winter transfers (ANOTHER MONTH AT LEAST!!!)

<p>I just spoke with an advisor and he told me that they have NOT started reviewing transfer applications yet! He said that they will begin reviewing them next week. However, the first ones completed are the first ones reviewed so the earlier you had yours in and completed, the earlier you will hear back. He said the earliest transfer applicants should hear back in about 6 weeks from the time they start reviewing...so 5-7 weeks from now transfers for the winter semester will start getting news :( </p>

<p>I have spent the last week looking at WA at least 20 times a day (no, I'm not exaggerating) I dont know if my nerves can hold up another month!!!! I'm seriously having a nervous breakdown. I will be transferring about 60 credits so this is seriously my last chance to go to UofM! </p>

<p>All I can say is that you really need to relax. I've never gone through transfer admissions (and I don't want to ever do so either), but I do know what it's like going through an admissions cycle. It sucks. However, there's nothing that can be done at this point, and there's no way you can make the admissions officers reciew your application any more quickly than they already are. I recommend trying to enjoy the next month at your university first and worrying about your transfer application second as it's out of your hands now. Try to have fun.</p>
