what do you guys think?i was thinking maybe UCF?i know it isn't so impressive, but yea.

UCF has rolling admissions...apply in September. USF could be another good option to check into. Private schools in FL to look at are Rollins, Eckerd and Flagler.

what is rolling admissions?

and what do you think my chances at FSU are?

bump!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rolling admissions means that the college considers applications as they come in. My D applied to UCF in late September this past year and had an acceptance letter within 3 weeks. With rolling admissions, the if the college accepts you, you don't have to give them an answer that you will accept their offer until May1st and are free to apply to other colleges early decision, early action, regular decision, etc. It was a nice way to start the college application process knowing she was accepted already to a state school. Ultimately, she got into most of the schools she applied to with scholarships, but choose to attend New College of FL.

My daughter didn't apply to FSU, so I don't have any personal experience with it. You may want to look through the FSU threads on this board for more info. I know many kids from our area were accepted and are planning to go there.
