I am from a CC in Southern California and i recently just dropped my Calculus I class with a W.
Would that affect my chances of transferring to UCs particularly CAL and UCLA?
And how would schools like USC and UMich see the W too?
My major is in Economics.
Could do with any help !!
Thanks!!
The W should not be a factor. Just retake. You might get a bit of blowback if you’re applying to Haas.
A “W” won’t hurt you much with the UCs.
Don’t know about USC or the University of Michigan, though.
UCLA/Cal > USC/Michigan anyway, lol
Thanks for the help guys,
Really thought so hard about getting that W because i want to get an A for my Calc classes.
I feel the exact same thread is posted every single day by different posters. It’s ridiculous!
It is true @luckyname, and this is not the only topic. Most of them I’ve stopped responding to. I have better things with my time to repeat the same stuff over and over.
If you wanted an A, why didnt you just study?
@mikesauce you’re on a roll!
@lindyk8 my thoughts exactly. I refuse to google things for people at this point.
You’ve gone out of your way @luckie1367, that’s for sure. B-)
@lindyk8 @luckie1367 Will I be rescinded for getting 2 Cs? What if I drop a class but I agree to take it in the summer? Do I have to report ALL the colleges I have attended? What if I forgot to report certain grades because I thought they didn’t matter?
Jk.
you made a massive mistake, @music1990, you needed to start a NEW thread.
We’re just joking aorund @hoKmadA . Ignore us. It’s late and it’s been a long three weeks. >:)
