I’m an international student, before that I staied in Kansas finish my cc degree. My graduated GPA3.4. I transfer an California community college in this spring. Maybe I chose Professor so late, this spring GPA is lower than 2.0. I’m an international student, I need to keep 12 credits. I couldn’t drop any bad class. UCSC withdraw my application because my last semester grades. Could I write some of appeal getting admission? Could anyone get some of advice?
The minimum GPA is 2.8 for non residents.
Most UC students have high GPA’s so it would be tough to keep up with them.
Also, there is a required entry level writing requirement. You may not have met that requirement based on your current writing, sorry. http://admission.universityofcalifornia.edu/counselors/transfer/minimum-requirements/index.html
You can try an appeal but the UCs stick to that GPA requirement.
Item #2 in the Transfer provisional admission contract for UCSC:
**Complete the coursework you reported as “in-progress” or “planned” with minimum grades of C (2.0).
You did not meet your provisional admission requirements so there is nothing to appeal.
