So I have about a week to make my decision, and I still am having way too much trouble with this. I want to be an English and Classics major and somehow get my teaching certification to teach high school English. Not sure how I want to do this because my main goal is to go to grad school and become a professor. I absolutely love learning and academia which is why I want to become a teacher. I love the campus and intellectual atmosphere at William and Mary and it has the programs I'm looking for. But, I am worried that it will be too difficult for me since I am so used to being at the top of my class. I have no problems with the lack of a party atmosphere-that's part of what I love! I also love the traditions and history of the campus. I love how small Bucknell is and I felt at home right away. The professors seemed so dedicated to their undergrads. But I am a little wary of the very small town and the large Greek presence. I live in Delaware so there are many benefits to going to the University of Delaware like instate tuition, being close to my family and friends (not as scary a transition), the amount of AP credits I would have, and the Honors Program. However, UD does not have the exact program I want (I could make it work though). I NEED HELP! As an outside observer, where should I go?

I think if you got into W&M, that means you can do the work! Out of state is competitive and that means you’re really smart and they saw something in you. Obviously pick the place where you’re the happiest, but don’t let the level of work deter you from going somewhere! If you got in, you can do it. I believe in ya!

Thanks!
