I am so jealous
Oh yeah! One year later (well, almost a year, I sent my last check in January), I’m in the midst of FINALLY doing some updating to the home–because I can. Goodbye 1961.
Ok, I have 2018 left to have to figure out taxable scholarship income, but I won’t be the one writing checks for that.
TooManyTeens- the day your kid grabs the check at dinner and says “I want to get this one” (and you know he or she can afford it, because he/she has a good job, lives within his/her means, and wants to do something nice for you) is the day you get ANOTHER parenting stripe!
Had that lunch experience last month. It is great when your kid offers to pay- he’s a GROWNUP.
