Hey guys, I was wondering if anybody can answer a few questions I have about work study jobs. I was offered one for $2500. I was filling out my job description for it and than i stopped because it asked what campus I would like my job to be on. I didn't want to fill it out before I receive my housing. Does anybody know if there is a deadline to fill out the work study forms. Or does it matter if I put down for a job on one campus if I will really get it? Any info on work study will be greatly appreciated.

Just wait until you get your housing, honestly more than likely they are gonna make you fill it out again the first week, that's what happened to me. I filled one out before getting to Rutgers and after like 3 weeks I had no job and no one contacting me, so I went to their office and filled another one out. To my knowledge there is no deadline to filll one out, because I filled mine out about a month after I was at school. Also they pretty much make sure you get the campus you want, like I said I applied a month late and still got the campus I wanted.

Yea, you get to choose from a list of jobs by campus... and that list gets updated regularly... so there's no real deadline... but the job you want may be taken if you wait.

how many hours on average is a work study job? and i am thinking about working at a library on campus for my job. What are the best jobs for work study?
