<p>Does anyone know that if you are offered a job through work study do you pretty much have to take the first one offered to you?</p>
<p>I did, but I’m not sure if you have to. I know that when I applied, they asked if they should just give me anything if they ran out of something that fit me or if I wanted to come in and pick one from the leftovers. I picked the latter since I didn’t want to get stuck with something random, but they found something for me. It’s not my ideal job (and I get paid the minimum), but I’d rather not deal with whatever is left over on the list. Chances are that I’ll be either uninterested in what everyone else is uninterested in or that I’ll be unqualified for the job.</p>
<p>you can go to the work/study office and change it if you’re really unhappy with it, i believe. might be wrong though, but it doesn’t hurt to try. i mean, you can change jobs from year to year so i can’t see a reason why an incoming freshman couldn’t.</p>
