So I really want/need to get a job to help finance my college education (I will feel too guilty going to an expensive school if I haven't done everything in my power to help out). What is a reasonable number of hours to work every week? I don't have any hardcore ec's going on for the rest of the year, but I have a full courseload of IB classes plus I'm studying Stats on my own and working on my IA's etc. I was thinking maybe 20hrs./week?

I'm not very good at this since I've never had a job, but what I'm more concerned about is whether you'll be able to balance everything and a job. Do you think you'll be able to handle a job and schoolwork?

I think 20 hrs/week is too much. I work 9, but that might be too few...But it depends on the job you get, too, and how many openings in shifts there are for people to work. 9 is pretty much the maximum I can work based on my coworker's hours. When you get a job, see if you can start with like 9 (3 hr shifts, 3 days a week) and add more if possible.
