^ I pretty much said the same thing as the post quoted above. However, I also mentioned the minimal impact of Islam from the trans-Saharan trade route.

how do yall prepare for the SAT II WH?

what review book/s did you guys use? how was it?

Princeton. It worked amazing for the MC, and the process of elimination kicked in well.

This was bad. MC was average as were essays… but average for me on this one is a low, low 5.

For the second essay, I basically did polytheism –> Islam –> Christianity. Then I talked about how treatment of people based on religion and women’s statuses and some polytheism continued. I have a really bad feeling about it though, because I had NO idea what I was writing and I basically based my answer off of what happened in Things Fall Apart (better than nothing, though!) Other essays weren’t so bad, MC was a lot of POE.

Does anyone know how substansial the curve will be this year? Also, what if I accidently said cultural beliefs on the second essay, instead of religious beliefs…will the apreaders automatically void my essay?

Not sure. I thought it was pretty easy, so I think it might be a tough curve, but no one can know for sure.

You’ll definitely be losing points because you didn’t answer what the question asked. Hopefully, in talking about their cultures, you at least mentioned religion?

Yeah, my entire essay was about religion, but i said cultural beliefs in my thesis statement, by accident. I also think I said culture instead of religion in my essay a few times…but im pretty sure that i described their beliefs.

hey im new to this website! i was wondering, is it possible to get a 3 or higher if you totally screwed up the multiple choice and you essays were pretty much good?

Each section is worth 50% of the test, so if you did perfectly on the essays and completely screwed up the multiple choice, there’s still a solid chance you get a 3. If the curve is really good, you may even get a 4 (although that is pushing it).
