World History 2010 Exam

@Master, I think it was like 78 raw score in order to get a 5. Hopefully this year it’s a little more generous.

MC was easy for me, more so than Princeton or Barrons.
DBQ and FRQ 2 were awesome
I BSed FRQ 1 pretty well…
i finished MC within 25 minutes and got to go back and check FOUR times! lol
skipped one

really expecting a 5. I glad I self studied this, even though I genuinely only studied last night…

i feel like everyone thought the mc was really easy thoughh…everyone in my class at least.
i was really surprised they chose what they did for the c/c. it was so expected it was unexpected, so i only glanced it over. you know what i mean?

^Actually, I know exactly what you mean. haha, I was going to brush on the c/c topic last night, but thought it was too obvious. I think I was just paranoid the topic wouldn’t be straightforward due to the Czechoslovakian disaster that was the 2009 Euro FRQ 1 (though I managed a 5 on that)=P

I bombed it. Badly.

Hopefully my MC went well; I answered all of them~ but I’m really bad at guessing 50/50… sob

I felt really unprepared about the essays; we barely practiced in class. They weren’t /as/ bad as what I was expecting. ;; I practiced yesterday but I stink at writing. Not sure if I did the DBQ right, afsaf on FRQ#1 = o = (I think I answered the question wrong too…) and I knew FRQ#2 but I couldn’t write or remember a lot for some reason. About 2 pages each…

Everybody who is worried about the people saying that the MC was easy: How many times have you or your friends finished a test in school and said, “that was so freaking easy”, come to find out, you actually bombed it? If you think it was easy, you either really knew the material, or you really didn’t. Most of the time it’s the latter.

^Is it possible that the opposite will happen for me? ;)

^of course it’s possible :)

shouldn’t stress out because we get our scores 3rd week of July.
The multiple choice was relatively easy, but I skipped 7.
DBQ- people say it was easy, but I freaked out and probably misinterpreted several docs.
Same goes for the other two essays. Looking back at it, I can’t decide if my essays sounded completely incoherant or not. Hope I’ll at least get a 3.

The multiple choice was REALLY easy. I only skipped 4, though I feel like I guessed more than I should’ve, and I know I got a few wrong…

The DBQ was easy, as always. The CC was FREAKISHLY easy, especially since my teacher basically drilled this into my head. The CCOT was really hard, though. I totally bs’ed it cuz I had no clue about it. I think I should’ve done decent on it though.

I probably got a high 4 or 5, hopefully.

At first the MC was sort of hard but then it got easier. As for the DBQ, I thought it was a piece of cake, but the last 2 essays were so-so.

the dbq took me wayyy too long lol and i kinda made up stuff for the other 2 essays because my class hardly went over that stuff…
the mc was hard. i guessed on too many.

In terms of difficulty for me:
Multiple Choice- 5/10
I skipped only 3 because all the choices in them seemed right. I had about 10 which I had eliminated all but 2, and took a lucky guess. Prob. got a 50-55/70 on this.
DBQ- 2/10
It was really easy this year, I found it easy to describe the documents effectively and wrote a lot of analysis to supplement it. Expect a 7-9
CCOT- 6/10
It took me a while to realize what the question was saying, but I understood it. But what I wrote seemed more like a encyclopedia entry than anything. Expect 4-6
C/C- 9/10
Was insanely hard for me because I didn’t think it would make it to the FRQ and ended up skimming the bare essentials for the two different things. I started to BS all over this one…and I’m pretty sure my reader will see that :frowning: Expect a 1-5.
Overall- I think I made an extremely high 3, a high 4, or a low 5. It depends on what the curve is this year though…hopefully not too bad because I believe this was harder than previous released AP exams >_<

I thought the multiple choice wasn’t any harder than the ones we’ve done in class over the year. And with a curve (my teacher always tries to use curves similar to the College Board or something) I usually get an A, for what it’s worth.

For the DBQ, I just grouped similarities/differences. I figure, why fight it. I did forget to use all of the docs until the last minute when I just inserted a little half sentence between the lines saying “this compares to [this other guy’s POV in this other doc from the same area because he has likely never done this type of work in his life. WHAP takers, you know what I mean, right?]…”.

I think I did pretty well on the first FRQ. I actually thought it was pretty easy because we spent a fair amount of time on a few of the main aspects in class. I also worked in a class inside joke :)

The second one seemed so obvious that I was kind of surprised, just like mrbh or whoever said. I actually knew a fair amount. Every textbook and prep book I’ve seen has a little chart comparing the two.

oh! and my dbq was 7 pages (3 pieces of paper and 1 side)
and both of my other frqs were 3 pages each.

MC was really easy. On the first 20 or so, I flew by in a couple of minutes. I skipped one and guessed on 8 or 9 (usually after narrowing it down to about 2:) — I finished it in about 20 min and had 35 to check it.

The DBQ was a little obscure, but I got all the info I needed from the DOCs. The CCOT was pretty simple and easy enough to write about. The C/C was also pretty easy - those were some really straightforward topics.

I hope My handwriting was alright as well (I probably bombed AP Euro’s essays because of it:(

MC was easy, they repeated ~5 questions from previous years. (I started chuckling about the giraffe picture in the middle of the test because 5 minutes before the test, I had randomly flipped open the Traditions and Encounters Book and that was the same picture)

DBQ was pretty easy

CCOT I completely BS’d, I chose the wrong continent to write baout.

C/C was okay. Might have gotten 5-6

I don’t think that could be the case. The way the College Board does world history, it’s basically common knowledge.
And I also don’t think I’ve ever had the experience described.

It was a lot easier than I expected it to be; I was really nervous about it!

The multiple choice was a little hard for me, but a lot easier than the practice exams I took. The essays were so easy, since they were exactly over what I studied. I wrote 3 pages on each. c: I also finished the first 2 essays earlier than the 40 minute limit, so on the last one, I had a full hour to think and plan.

I’m expecting to get a 4, hopefully. I don’t know why I was freaking out about this test so much! xD

I just realized that I forgot to include the part on the DBQ about a potential source that would help my conclusions! What would be the highest score I could potentially get considering I left this part out?
