worried about my gpa

Im a sophmore in my local community college and im trying to transfer in fall 2015 to UCs. My GPA is 3.44 in the Tag average and here are my grades. (I went to a quarter school so the grading is a little different in my first year)

fall quarter 2012
Psyc 1=A
Soc1 = A-
Art history =B
Econ= A-

spring semester 2013
Phil 102B = A
Eng 101= C (not trying to make excuses but the prof was just horrible...)

Fall semester 2013
Chem 200=A
Chem201L=A
Bio210A=B

Spring semester (in progress but here are they projected grades)

Chem 201=A
Chem201L=B
Math 141= C
Eng 205= A

Heres my question, since precalc isnt in my major (Biochem/chem) requirements but only as a prereq for calculus and physics should i list it in my tag even though its UC transferrable but i know most UCs dont even have precalc classes. My second question is what are my chances getting into UCLA, UCSD, UCD, and UCI? I still need one more humanities course and one more language course but im fluent in mandarin (can read and write) should i take it to boost my GPA?
Any advice would help thanks! ^^ oh btw, im planning to take calc in the summer and physics o-chem and calc 2 in my following fall quarter.

You list EVERY class in your TAG/regular applications. Even classes that aren’t UC transferable.
I don’t know much about competitive biology GPA’s but to UCLA your GPA is low. This might be helpful for you as it shows some UCLA stats by majors: https://www.admissions.ucla.edu/prospect/adm_tr/Tr_Prof13_mjr.htm</a></p>

Im more of a chem major and from the UCLA average its around a 3.5-3.6, so i guess im not that far off…

Yeah you’re in good shape for chemistry. I was looking at biochem which is 3.8
Which college are you looking to TAG for?

you seem to have a decent shot at the other schools except UCLA unless your bring your GPA up, which wont be such an easy task seeing as how you have your ochem series still to do, but dont worry its not as hard as youd think. TBH i think you GPA RIGHT NOW is just too low for UCLA cause they are super competitive. but i do agree, you do have a better chance to get in with just regular chemistry cause the GPA is a little lower and their acceptance rate is somewhat higher. i personally applied to UCLA with a ~3.7 GPA as a biochem major and was surprised that i got in cause i had a lower than average GPA. that being said, although the odds seem against you, you never know so dont give up cause it is very possible to get into UCLA if you bring your GPA up and write some awesome personal statements

Thank you! My precalc teacher is just an nightmare, i consider myself to be pretty good at math but his tests are just heartless… I still have 1 language and 1 humanities for my igetc, should i take them and boost my gpa?
