i took the SAT today, read up on the thread, and found that I got 5-6 wrong, and projected a 10-11 essay?

I'm kind of freaked out because I wasn't feeling that great at all physically during that part, my stomach was flipping out (not from nervousness hahaha, I was actually pretty sick :/ )

I think I can get 800 on both cr and math, in january I had 800 cr, 770 writing, and a 710 math score. should I cancel? :/ would the dropoff be too great? The superscore would be great, but Im worried sick about this!

If most of your colleges “superscore” (take the best score from each sections from different sittings), then you don’t necessarily have to…but if your colleges will look at all your scores, then maybe you should. I wouldn’t because overall you will probably get a good score, and it won’t matter too much for colleges. But it is up to you.

I took the test in March, and got pretty good scores. If I don’t like my new May scores, I thought I could just NOT send them to any colleges? Is that true, or do I have to cancel?

It depends on whether the schools accept the score choice policy. Oh, and OP, don’t cancel, because if you get 800 in math and cr you’ll have a 2370 superscore, and I doubt colleges care about one bad writing score.
