I already have a 35 on the ACT. I’m planning to take the SAT in a few weeks with little studying. If I get a low score could this hurt me?
It won’t hurt,but it’s a waste of time,IMO.
My daughter is considering the opposite…-she has a 1570 on the SAT and is thinking about taking the ACT. Probably not worth it.
Only for schools that require you to send all sittings of all tests - I’m note sure one of these even exists.
Or if, for some silly reason, you decide to send it.
Unless you have a 34.5-rounded-up-35 and for some reason think you’ll do better on the SAT than a second sitting of the ACT, this seems to be a waste of time.
35 ACT is great! No need to take SAT, use that time to take subject tests if the schools you are looking at recommend subject tests.
Yes, I would focus on subject tests
Don’t waste your time!
No school is going to reject you because you didn’t score a 36.
Instead they’ll pick apart your resume and grades.
You’ve won the test scores part of the application. Now focus on creating a compelling story that will be compelling to write about when it comes to essays.
