Would 2 C's hurt?

would 2 C+'s (1st and 2nd semester) of AP statistics hurt?

got a 4 on the AP exam

sophmore year btw, and i'm planning to apply to UCSD/UCLA/UCB (ehh..i know)

i dont think 2 cs would hurt you as long as i get solid gpa...

i have a 3.8UW and 4.25W

it'll be okay.

Yeah, I had C's in Spanish and Geometry Honors, and it really didn't hurt me too much.

are you in-state?

as long as you are in ELC, you'll be fine..

I had 2 C's too (from AP Chemistry and AP Calc BC) I think it did hurt me a little bit (I had 3.7 UW) but I still did make it into USC when the admission rate was 25 percent this year... so you never know. Just write solid good essays and fill it up with your ECs. Good luck.

I'm sure you will get into UCSD if the rest of your application (EC, etc) is good. For Cal and La, just make sure you write a good essay, and you will probably get into one of them. I was in a similar situation this year when I applied to collges, but I only had 1 C and like 14 B's (your overall is better than me though cause I had 3.9 weighed gpa). I got into Cal and UCSD, but not ucla, so I think you still have a good chance.

it'll hurt a bit..but if your overall GPA is still pretty high then don't worry too much about it. i got C's in precalc honors in sophomore year and i got rejected from UCB/UCLA..(no other C's in junior/senior year tho)

yea i'm in-state

I had 2 Cs too...precalc and journalism. That was sophomore year. Now I got A's both semesters in calc. funny how that works.

i dont think so if it doesnt happen again...
