I was wondering if a 3.6 gpa would get me into UC Davis or Riverside I just finished my sophomore year in high school so i got 2 years left and I’m hoping my gpa would be a 3.6 by the end of junior year or even more but I’m not so sure if UC’s only look at your 10th and 11th grade semester grades? Do they also look at your freshmen year? If they do I’m really screwed I so messed up my freshman year with a 1.8 gpa but my sophomore year gpa was a 3.5 both semesters. I’ve improved a lot I so far did the psat and i got a 1500 i’m hoping to get on the real sat maybe at least 1900? I haven’t joined any clubs so far I’m doing community hours at humane society i dont know if that’ll help please any advice on how to get into those colleges???
UC’s use only 10-11th a-g course grades for the UC GPA calculation. Freshman grades are looked to make sure you meet a-g course requirements. You are on the right track so keep up the good work. At the end of 11th grade, calculate your UC GPA using this link. http://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/
Repost with your SAT score, EC’s and GPA and posters can chance you. In the meantime check the link to see how you compare to the averages from last year and what to aim for in test scores and GPA.

GPA of 3.6 would probably get you an acceptance at UCR but probably not UCD. Get that SAT and GPA up for UCD by next year and your chances will be much better.
