Would I be able to transfer??

Hello, so I attended El Camino College right after graduating high school in 2008 while working a full time job. I really had no idea which major or career path I wanted to pursue but knew I needed college sometime or another. I took a variety of classes but dropped a few here and there which added up to 4 w's. When I attended El Camino College I was really lost and poorly motivated until spring of 2011, I finally realized I wanted to pursue Business and enrolled into 4 courses. Just to my luck I had to relocated to Denver in the middle of the semester and I had to drop 4 more course due to my dad's job demands. I have enrolled into Metropolitan State College of Denver in the mean time and am retaking those last 4 courses in the 2011 Fall semester. However, to my questions; I have 8 w's on my community college transcript would that affect my admission even though I am going to attend another college in Denver to redo those last dropped courses due to my move? Also I mentioned at El Camino I wasn't too motivated about school which resulted in a 2.5 GPA. If I were to apply for the 2012 Fall semester would admissions only look at my El Camino courses or would they consider my Fall 2011 courses as well as my Spring 2012 courses and see that I improved greatly. Now that I know what I want to pursue I'm turning myself around and just seeking advice on whether it would be a wise choice to apply or not bother with it due to my mishaps at my previous college. Thank you very much and I would appreciate any information/advice. (By the way the universities I was looking at were both the cal poly schools and Cal State long beach and san fran).

I’m not an expert, but I believe they will look at EVERYTHING when they will consider you. Now, as far as W’s go, I don’t think that will effect whether or not you get admitted at all. I mean, I’ve never heard of W’s on a person’s transcript having a good or bad effect.
