Would i still be eligable for CSU enrollment?

Ok so im a high school senior right now and got a D in trig last year second semester and a D first semester of my third year of a foreign language other wise than that most my grades are A’s, B’s a couple C’s and all other classes that i got D or lower have been made up except this D in trig and D in french 3 which i can make up the trig but my counselor said not to worry about the foreign language one but the only way to make up the trig class is i have to retake the whole class and lose AP computer science next semester which i dont want to. I can still graduate with a D but will a CSU take it, i will have five years of math once this school year is concluded, will this affect any chances, my extracurricular activity aren’t noticeable my SAT and ACT scores are slightly above average and my gpa is 2.8 or 2.9 or possibly slightly higher. Any information helps thanks.

If you passed your French 3 class with a C or better 2nd semester you are fine. If you took Alegebra2 and/ or Pre-calc and passed both semesters, this will validate your D in Trig. Unless you repeat these specific classes: French 3 or Trig, your D’s will remain on your transcript and be included in your CSU GPA. I would calculate your CSU GPA to see where you stand. https://secure.csumentor.edu/planning/high_school/gpa_calculator.asp
Only your 10-11th grades are included in the CSU GPA caclulation and you get up to 8 extra points for UC approved Honors, AP or IB classes taken in 10-11th grade.

What are your SAT/ACT score breakdown?

All CSU’s (except Cal Poly SLO) use an eligibility index to rank their applicants.

(CSU GPA x800) +(SAT Math+CR) or (CSU GPA x200) + (ACT Composite x10). What is yours??? If you post your information, CC posters could help you determine which CSU’s to target for your application. What is your intended major?
