Would Johns Hopkins set me up well for business school?

Hello,
I am an incoming freshman at JHU and I will be majoring in Applied Math & Statistics w/ a double major in Economics. I know that Johns Hopkins is well respected in all fields, but my worry is that the school has too big of a reputation for medicine. Would going to Hopkins hinder my chances at a top business school after graduating, assuming I have good GMAT scores/extracurriculars etc?
Thank you

you’ll know wehe you get your GMAT score haha

I would be more worried about recruiting and the three years of work in between undergrad and business school.

The man on the street may associate Hopkins with medicine, but that is totally irrelevant to MBA admissions. You will at least get in somewhere decent from Hopkins plus having a good undergraduate degree. The double major should be excellent for MBA school, and pretty difficult at Hopkins. You seem like you will fit in well at Hopkins, as you have a premed mentality.

Hopkins also has a business minor/maybe even major that is in the school of engineering, you can taking all sorts of business classes to bolster your grad apps and post-graduate job
