Would taking 3 AP classes sophomore year be too difficult for me?

Honestly, I don’t know why I decided to make this difficult for me. Or maybe it won’t be.
I chose to take:
AP World History (which I heard was actually really hard)
AP Biology (which I heard can be alright since it’s mostly memorization)
AP Psychology (which I heard was fun, although some of my friends that took it this year as a sophomore failed it with a 1.)
Pre-Calculus (math is easy for me)
English 2 Honors
Weightlifting (idk why I chose it, I wanted to try something new)
3D Animation (same as weightlifting)

I’m not planning on doing too much extracurriculars. I might get a job and participate in weightlifting and flag football. Last year, I only took AP HuGe and Chemistry Honors. All my other classes were cake. At first, I was caught off-guard and did a little bad, and got a C for the first quarter in Chem. For the rest of the year, I got myself together and worked my way up to getting straight A’s. Only problem is… I got a 2 on my AP HuGe exam. Of course, it was my first AP class, but I still don’t want to make the same mistake again. Should I just drop AP Biology to keep myself from failing basically all AP exams?
(Sorry if I chose the wrong category)

AP World and AP Biology will be a lot of work. Much depends upon your teachers. I would take AP World and AP Psych and possibly consider Honors Biology for Sophomore year. You can then take AP Biology Junior year.

Nobody can say for sure what is too much for you. Different people learn more quickly or have more/fewer outside of school activities or responsibilities.

You are doubled up on social studies with psych and history. Do you need a foreign language?

Good catch @AroundHere in regards to Foreign Language omission. Many schools want a minimum 2 years FL, most recommended 3 years and top schools want 4 years. How many years do you have so far?

I recommend you take at least 2 years of foreign language. Some colleges won’t even look at you if you don’t have 2 years FL.

To add on to what others have said, you also shouldn’t take AP Bio if you haven’t taken biology before. The AP sciences are the hardest AP’s out of them all, and you should take them lightly, though rigor can change from school to school.

I’m currently at the same position as you are but I got a 3 on my APHG exam. I underestimated AP classes so much and ended up cramming the night before and eventually giving up, but I learned my lesson now. Have you considered taking Psychology 1 and 2 ( 1 and 2 together are a full year, each one is a semester course) before AP Psychology? At my school, it’s a requirement before taking the AP class and I heard it helped a lot and most of those who took it got a 4 or 5.

Have you taken honors bio and honors Chem? Those would be pre-reqs for AP biology.
If you haven’t taken either one, do so rather than take AP bio.

You need a foreign language (if you intend to apply to selective colleges, you’ll need foreign language at level 3 as a minimum, 4 or AP being better.)
