So I wanted to take both classes but unfortunately I can't. Both classes are during 5th period only, so obviously I can't take both. I'm so frustrated with my school right now. Uuughh. Here are the classes I will be taking my senior year:
Anatomy&Physiology
Honors English
Trig/ICM
Civics
Spanish 3 or Yearbook
& I might even have Psychology.

My problem is that I won't have any other extra curricular classes if I take Spanish 3. I will be volunteering during the school year though. & I took Yearbook last year (junior year) if that helps? I will be applying to UCs and a couple of private schools.

So am I better off with Yearbook or Spanish 3? I plan to major in nursing. Thank you!

Eh, I’ll still answer. In my opinion, it really depends on what colleges you are applying to. If none of the colleges you are looking at require more than 2 years of a foreign language, do yearbook. If there is a college you want to apply to that requires more than 2 years of a foreign language, do Spanish. Either way, I feel your situation – unfortunately, I’ve had schedule conflicts with classes every single year of high school. :/

Stay in Spanish then. I was in the exact same situation as you when I picked my junior year schedule (Spanish 3 or yearbook), I picked yearbook, but I also take a third (well now second language) outside of school. If you are not taking an extra language on top of Spanish, pick Spanish.
