Would you choose UCI or UCSD?

<p>I feel hopeless in college admissions, but I was wondering how the two campuses compare. I know SD is good for science,but I’m not sure if I really want to go science there because I’m interested in business too. I’ve visited UCSD before and I have to say La Jolla is nice, but the campus itself didn’t leave me super impressed. I still have to visit Irvine, but I’m mainly looking for personal opinions. Chances are since UCSD has nothing business like except pure economics, I’ll choose UCI over SD just for biz econ. So for a person who’s in between science or business should I rather go UCI if I get in? How hard is it to double major at Irvine (biz econ/chem)? Is it less difficult than lets say SD or LA? Also, please tell me more about the surrounding areas of both campuses to give me an idea of what you can do. A list of things that you can do in both areas would be great.</p>

<p>UCI will start the undergraduate B-school Fall 2008. Check the uci.edu for details.</p>

<p>I would choose UCI if you are interested in business. But be forewarned, I imagine that the business major will be really tough to get into in 2008.</p>

<p>I would choose ucsd if you want more competition. ucsd's econ is a lot better than uci's econ. All the kids from that go to business are going to be from econ so i don't see much difference other than more mgmt courses.</p>
