So I just took a pratice test with Barron's and after studying for every single section except math. I got a 25, which is funny bc on the Reading section I got like a 26 but on the SAT I got a 790. It is not speed bc I finished like every setion with between 5-10 minutes early. I hear Barron's is harder than the real ACT, and please tell me this it true, bc that test was brutal.

barron's is much harder.. a 25 on barron's is probably comparable to at least a 30 (probably higher.. like a 31 or 32) on the real thing

Do the Princeton Review tests instead. They're accurate.

PR is one of the best.. but barron's is good in the sense that since its questions are harder, the real thing will seem easier than usual

the real act book and PR are the two best, though

Barron's is not harder in the sense that it asks similar yet harder questions. Barron's is harder in the sense that it asks questions unrelated to those posed by the actual ACT exam. Don't even bother.

^^ i disagree.. barron's was a significant help for me on reading because it really made me find the answers fast and move on as quickly as i could.. then kaplan helped me with timing issues.. also, barron's had a lot of info on strategies, and those were really helpful to me

Well on the practice test with Barron's I got a 25, on the real ACT I got a 34. So maybe Barron's does help.
