Wow, first semester went badly

So I got around a 3.6 my first semester and I was wondering about the difficulty of Spanish 232, English 125 Psych 270. Now that I know my study habits and how to study for specific classes, I’m aiming for at least a 3.8 next semester. Does Organic Chemistry live up to the hype? Is it as difficult as everyone says it is?

If you got a 3.6 you’re probably good. I took Orgo and I found it hard. I put a good bit of effort into it and got a B. If you want to take it do it, if not don’t. It’s not a good class to take for fun, one because it’s boring, and two because it’s a weeder class.

I’m taking orgo because I’m pre-med. I would never take that class for fun.

Well, you have to take it then. I think Orgo with the classes you listed should be fine.

(Nice to know your doing well Entertainer, I remember one time you had a thread stating how your nervous you may not be able to handle the course work due to your high school stats upon being admitted.)

Yea Coolbrezze. Just know that anything is possible. High School doesn’t mean much. Its the effort in college that impacts your future.
