oh sorry thiscouldbeheaven, didn’t notice that you’re @ ucla. oops. i should obviously not say anything about ucla in front of you, even though i think there are better schools out there.just my opinion. yeah, of course public schools are good. they’re great as backups. so why did u end up at ucla?

[dumplings]

to this couldbeheaven:
hayyyyy girllllllllllllllllllll ;)

At my school in California, community colleges are safety-safeties, Cal States are safeties for half the kids and reaches for the other half. Then for the honors level students, UCs are where 95% want to go, the other 5% top 20 schools. However UCLA and Cal are definitely reaches for most of us… definitely not safety schools.

Idk if that made sense, it sounds like a bunch of jumble to me but whatev :P

How about just not saying anything idiotic about UCLA in front of the rest of us?

^you’rrreeeeee just madddd because i enjoyed that comeback that LOCKN threw back at you about advertising yourself in essays

Because I would rather go there than some random private school back east that has a large endowment.

I’mmmmmmmmm justttt maddd thatttttt youuu haveeee nooo ideaaaa whatttt you’reeee talkingggg aboutttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt…

nooooooooooooooooo yooooouuuuuuuuuuuuu knowwwwwwwwww
exactlyyyyyy what i’mmm talkkkingggg abouttttttttt misterrrrrr fordddddd

lololol, how bored are you right now, pigs at sea? ;P

Actually, I don’t.

I’m still looking for that party school list with UCLA on it.

you’re like that dude from brave new world

If you want to study physics/chemistry/engineering, Berkeley is tough to beat. It has better programs in those subjects than most of the ivies.

I really don’t like affirmative action. I’m white, and even though I am quite a good student, I am concerned that I will be disadvantaged in college admissions. Affirmative action is racist towards whites and asians. Ok, they should consider how a poverty-stricken background might hinder someone from performing at their best academically, but it is ridiculous for UC schools to say that there are too many asians. The asians are the ones who are raising the bar for the schools’ performance and reputation, and their achievements should be welcomed rather than scorned. If colleges really wanted to be fair, they would eliminate the race factor all together.

it is good that you are letting the world know about the hardships of the white race. i’ll help illustrate. for example: name one white president of the united states. ha. you couldn’t. the powers that be are keeping the white man down . . .

^what is with your obsession about the oppression of the white people?

does anyone else have any insightful views about AA, other than the "OH NO asians and whites are disadvantaged, should go by income blah, "

let’s discuss the importance of diversity :]

im just setting things straight. the real disadvantaged minority these days is the white man. affirmative action, not being allowed to use racial slurs in public, riding the bench on nba teams . . . the list goes on . . . they truly have it hard.

edit: are you actually reading what i am posting?

^i think you’re schizophrenic. i’m so sorry kitten =[

this is a serious post.
