Do NOT do back to back classes unless they are kinda close to each other, ie the 6 pack or the FAC and WEL, even, you have a bike and know exactly where you are going or will leave class early without a problem.

I’m taking classes for summer so I am on campus at the moment and I HATE the fact that I have to practically rush to get a seat, especially to government since there are 200+ people in the class. This is even with the teachers letting us out 10-15 minutes early. Though for summer there are limited choices so I have no choice except for back to back classes.

So far I can make it on foot from CPE to WEL to PHR in time but CPE to WEL is kinda stretching it.

I couldn’t imagine trying SZB from PHR since PHR is hard to get to because of the construction. You would have to lock up your bike behind WEL and then walk for like five minutes.

How hard will it be to get from RLM to MEZ to BUR? I have these classes back to back to back on MWF. I looked at the map and its a lot of walking from Jester but is it possible to make it on time to each of these if I have all three of these classes back to back?

Your problem is MEZ. It is very far away from the other two. BUR <–> RLM would be decent, for a student who doesn’t like to be early. I like to be early by 5 or 10 minutes, just so I know I have some extra time, in case I want to talk to somebody along my way and not just rush.

Oh jesus. There are a ton of stairs and/or hills between RLM and MEZ. Anything from RLM/Engineering needs to have a gap or be followed by a closer building if you dont want to die or leave class early. You are not going to be able to make it in 10 minutes unless you run or no one else is walking or there are no cars.

Remember you have to factor in getting out and into each building and RLM has this weird escalator system and the elevators are slow and only go to certain floors (I got stuck in one before).

MEZ to BUR is still kinda far away but doable.

Er, are you sure? RLM and BUR are basically next to each other as far as North/South distance from MEZ goes. I would consider either to be too far.

And ironically, after everything I’ve said in this thread. I just double-double-checked my schedule, and every Friday I have to go from WEL to BUR. I totally forgot about that. Oh well, the construction will be a pain. But at least it’s just a UGS class I’m headed to. Nothing I would need to study for hardcore beforehand…

NXT You have a yellow mountain bike… I know some gay men who really like that color. Perhaps they will be attracted to you. Then what will you…Fall off.

I can walk from Jester to Kinsolving in 10 minutes - I think anything is possible.

Walking from MEZ to Burdine would take less time than walking from RML to MEZ because geographically there are less hills. Mez - Bur you only hit the stairs up the tower and sort of a slight hill up the 6 pack. From RLM you have to go up those stairs where the trees are, across a street, up another flight/flights of stairs, down another flight in front of the tower and down the 6 pack or walk all the way down almost to jester and go up that super steep hill behind business or you have to go up that hill next to the construction of the new bio building and around the tower that way but that seems longer to me. So they have a better chance of getting to Burdine quicker, in my opinion.

I don’t know. I wouldn’t choose those buildings in that order personally.

I wouldn’t try to change your classes if everything is closed/you need those classes. You can always leave class early if you need to.

well i chose wiseman based off of pick a prof…people were writing some good stuff about him and he seemed to give out the most A’s, but i mean he could end up being a ****ty teacher so i dont knowww ughh.

but i guess i’ll try to switch around my classes since people are saying i’ll be rushing from jester to rlm. thanks for the info
