WOW week

<p>When do parents drop off their kids since the program starts on a Tuesday?<br>
do students move into the dorms the previous weekend and wait for the activities ?
I’m trying to plan the days off if I need to get off work to get my son there and would love some information </p>

<p>Move in is usually right before WOW begins, so the move in would be over the weekend-Monday, then there are some meet your college/major orientation activities for like half a day I think, and then WOW begins…</p>

<p>Out of state new freshmen move in on Monday, 09/16. All in-state new Freshman and Transfer Students move into on-campus housing starting Tuesday, 09/17, between 8am-6pm. WOW starts that evening, with a welcome event scheduled from 4 pm-6 pm (all freshmen & parents invited), and this year they will also have a Parent & Supporters Reception from 6:30-7:30 PM following the welcome event.</p>

<p>Does anyone know what day/time SOAR Starts and ends for out of state students during move in week? </p>

<p>Trying to figure out if it conflicts w/ WOW.</p>

<p>Out of State SOAR is a one day event. I believe this year it will be September 17. It does not conflict with WOW.</p>

<p>Very excited as an out-of-state student to do SOAR from 8am to 5pm and then 5pm to 11pm, to WOW it up!</p>
