WTP @ MIT 2020

What’s the max amount of coding experience that you can have to still partake in the EECS track? I’ve done some coding in Python but not much. Probably up to loops and lists, and a little bit of conceptual CS stuff (algorithms). Will I still get disqualified? And if I do, how likely is it that I will end up in the mechanical engineering track?

nah, i think that WTP doesn’t care too too much about prior coding experience, so you should be fine

Hey, WTP alum here. For the EECS class, we did loops and lists like in first couple of days so I think you should be good. Just be honest when they ask questions on the application about your experience. And you still will have a chance for MechE!
Also, I just made a thread for WTP this year if you have any more questions
