Actually, judging from past years, I predict that decisions will come out either March 2nd or 9th
That would be great! Anything to make this wait less agonizing is a good thing.
@Hawkace I highly doubt they’ll release decisions as early as March 2nd, most likely it’ll be sometime during the week of March 9-13. Still pretty early compared to some other schools though.
I may be wrong, but I think they released it two years ago on March the 2nd.
nope
2014 - March 10th ( Monday )
2013 - March 8th ( Friday )
2012 - March 9th ( Friday )
I think March 9th ( Monday ) for 2015 is most likely
Found this posted on the admissions site. Interesting - looks like they postponed the date a little bit for the application materials.
Freshman Admission
The Regular Decision application deadline for the Class of 2019 (our fall 2015 freshman class) was January 15, 2015. All application materials must be received by our office no later than 5:00 p.m. Central Time on Tuesday, January 20, 2015, in order to be considered by the application committee.

They did the same thing for ED.
Just got back from my visit. Literally everything about this place is over the top incredible.
I applied! Definitely my #1 choice.
hey everyone, I was wondering, does it make show any additional added bonus of interest if I had two interviews? I live in TN and had an interview there with an alum. Then, I signed up for a college visit and saw another option for an interview and took it. As it turned out, I had an interview with an admissions counselor for the one at WashU, and although he wasn’t my counselor, he was good friends with my actual counselor. Also, I have been keeping in touch with him ALOT (16 emails and great replies) as well as my own counselor
Do you think I could get in with a 3.84 GPA (extreme upward trend, I was a loaded try hard junior, senior yr with perfect senior mid-yr with all AP’s) and 32 ACT?? Thanks =; O:-) ;)) >:D< @-) :-" >-)
You have about as good of a chance as most concerning grades it is just about standing out at this point. None of us know what admissions are looking for this year so we might as well just live our lives until the decision date and, acceptance or rejection, move on. At this point we don’t have much control over what they decide, as painful as that is to hear.
Thanks. I am just trying to decide if I want to cancel or have my application deferred from Emory ED2 because I wan’t too much of a fan of it compared to other schools (i.e. here and Michigan). I just want an opportunity to hear back from them both because I like them more
@Epicorangeninja If’ you’re not sure that you’d want to go to Emory if they accept you, you shouldn’t be applying ED. It really is that simple. Time for a talk with your parents. But you should be thinking about why you prefer WUSTL and Michigan before you have that conversation, imho. Good luck!
@Arlmom2 yea, I’ve repetitively had this conversation with my parents, they don’t want me to. I don’t think they believe I can get into michigan, as I was defered and they don’t like Michigan as much sicne it is lower ranked on us news. They are kinda stubborn about it
@epicorangeninja If you can’t move the debate to a different set of issues, you probably don’t have much leverage. If they’re as committed to rankings as you say, perhaps you can show them departmental rankings for the programs you’re interested in, particularly if some of the programs are more highly regarded at WUSTL and Michigan?
You’ve already applied to Emory ED, so as you know, unless they let you withdraw your app, you’re at the mercy of the fates on this one. Any chance your HS counselor can help?
From negotiating with my daughters, I’ll tell you that they’re most successful when they marshall their arguments and have a calm discussion with us.
Hey guys! Could someone say whether Wash U emails or sends letters? I can’t seem to find this information.
for decision notification? It’s through the portal, although I think if you’re accepted they send a follow up acceptance packet in the mail
Hi - does anyone have a sense for date of merit scholarship notification? Moreover, does anyone know whether WUSTL will tell you if you didn’t get a scholarship?
From what I read throughout past threads, it seems that next Saturday is a good estimate as to when notifications for scholarship semifinalists will be sent out. If you were not selected for a scholarship, it should say so on your WUSTL Pathway account.
