Assuming that one had all of these as options, would welcome commentary. My child is a strong student with a high SSAT score, plays a competitive sport and is a little artsy. Not a joiner, a little shy.
What would I do? I’d apply to them and wait until March 10 to see the acceptances, revisit the school to which I’d been accepted, if possible, and then repost the question (if questions still remained).
And then I would encourage my child to choose the school that SHE felt was the best fit for her… a place she could see herself calling “home” for the next few years.
I’d also be sure to widen my pool of “acceptable” schools, since there aren’t enough spots for all the kids with high SSAT scores, etc that apply.
Seconding @ProudLoomisDad …All of these schools have very low acceptance rates. Lots of well-qualified candidates are turned away every year. I would add a couple of schools with higher acceptance rates. Search this forum for ‘Hidden Gems’.

Nobles is probably the easiest admit, but if your child is an athlete you might want to ask whether they have updated their concussion protocols in light of the recent death of a girl athlete.
MODERATOR’S NOTE:
Please do not hijack a thread; it is very rude to the original poster. I have split off the discussion regarding the death of the student-athlete in question, which can be found here.
