Go to the college website you are interested in, find the cross country team and look at stats.

I believe most XC recruiting will ask about track times due to variety of cross country courses (unless you have ran on one of the big well known courses on which they could reasonably compare your time).

These may help some … [url=http://www.ncsasports.org/recruiting-tools/mens-high-school-track/mens-track-recruiting-guidelines]Men’s Track Recruiting Information | NCSA Athletic Recruiting | NCSA/url

It’s a terrible misconception that running X time “qualifies” you for any specific division. The 5k times needed to be competitive at a program like Haverford or NCC are going to be far different than from the sort of times needed to succeed at a 15-30 (nationally) school, and those times will again be different than the ones needed for a team that doesn’t make nationals, gets buried in conference, etc.

Look at the times the team is currently running, and try to find out what those guys were running in high school. Email the coach and ask him, email the athletes and ask them.
