My current sophomore was never contacted for an interview so I wouldn’t worry about it.

yeah i got no interview either.

i ended up applying after getting a bunch of those generic minority recruitment letters from the deans of the cultural centers.

Can we expect Yale will release notifications March 28th?

^ That’s what I’ve been counting on. But now that I think of it, I haven’t read anything that officially states the date.

I swear I saw something about March 28th on the Yale site or some official site… I just can’t pinpoint which one it was…

I think it said March 28th somewhere on my Eli Account. It was either there or on my Eli Account e-mail.

yeah it said march 28th in the eli account email :)

Yeah, March 28th is going to be an emotional day. The wait will be killer.

^I think that’s the understatement of our lifetimes…

I was finally starting to calm my anticipation, then I got an acceptance this weekend and now I’m even more impatient for the rest of my decisions. :/

Do we know if we’re allowed to send in additional information for RD applications? Just got back my TSA score, and I think it might be worth a mention.

I don’t know if it was mentioned on this thread, but I’m starting to wish unlikely letters existed.

I once read something about someone getting an unlikely letter. I don’t know if it was true - it does seem rather… well… unlikely ;)

I c wut u did there.

wait what?! there’s such a thing as an UNlikely letter??

^ I heard that back in the day (+30 years), once an application was rec’d, the admissions office would quickly send a post card that said basically: “likely”, “being considered”, or “not likely”.

Today’s equivalent is this: If you hit the “submit” button, an unlikely letter should automatically be generatated for everyone! LOL

^ ouch… LOL. that’s cold (and regrettably too true)

T26E4 the truth hurts but you sure said it. I feel like only superhumans get in, or those with $$$$$

So, since it feels like there have been so few comments the past few days, here’s a few conversation starters: What states are you all from? What is your school like (how competitive is it, what is its size?). What have your passions been in high school?

I’m just curious to see for all of you. As always, best of luck to all. :)

I’m from CA! I live halfway in between wine country and the suburbs of San Francisco… it’s a nice place to be. My high school is fairly unremarkable, but it’s in the next town over, because I’m there for a magnet arts program. Not too big and not too competitive (except among this year’s top three students, who are all vying for valedictorian). I’m into science and music… I’m currently singing in four choirs, which has been an adventure. How about you? :)
