Impressive resume. I’ll be honest: I’m envious of the page position and it is a great way of expressing political interest. The extracurriculars are flawless.

One question though. Do you have a weighted GPA? Obviously, you can’t argue with a 4.0 GPA, but it would be an interesting facet.

Test scores are a bit low for Yale, but the EC’s make up more than enough for it, IMO. Just make sure you can channel your experiences into a good essay, and you have a great shot.

First of all, thank you for chancing me. Your analysis of my chances was by far the best one I have ever received.

Your statistics are great, your SAT and GPA qualify you for any school in the country. Your EC’s are phenomenal. Your congressional experience will no doubt help admissions officers see your passion for politics. I believe that you have as good a shot as anyone when it comes to getting into Yale. I have a feeling that you will get in. Good luck!

Literally you are SO in. Honestly you’ve got the perfect credentials to be a Yale student. Your extracurricular look amazing while your GPA is impeccable. There’s always a chance that one won’t get into Yale, but honestly it seems like you have everything down.

Ik you already chanced me, but could you Chance me back knowing that I am Indian-from India not Native American.
Thankyou!

I think your application is very strong, especially considering your passion for political science as exemplified by participating in the US Congressional Page Program. With good test scores and good grades, combined with possible legacy status, I’d say that you have a pretty high chance of getting in.

as was said before, your chances seem like they’re about as good as it gets for non USAMO winner/URM/recruits. I also do think it’s worthwhile to retake/take more SAT IIs in the fall, because with some studying specific to the tests I think you could easily bring them up

You have a decent chance, though anyone applying to Yale shouldnt get their hopes up.
I might suggest writing an essay on something other than being a page. . . something more personal. . . maybe talk about WHY you were so thrilled to have that opportunity, why politics interests you. That will make you stand out more than just holding that position.

Sorry, man. Your overqualified. Yale recognizes students who are so good that they should actually be aiming higher than Yale itself (i.e. Harvard). Since your overqualified, they will assume that you only want to slack off in their college by not wanting to go to a college such as Harvard. I’m not saying that you would, but this is what Yale is going to see. You probably won’t get accepted though. Instead, you might want to look at a community college first. Sorry.

I am immensely impressed with your grammar “OldArnold,” you obviously have a grasp on the difference between “your” and “you’re” (which means “you are” dumbass). Next time you make an obnoxiously sarcastic and incisive comment on someone’s chance thread, do it properly.

It’s not my fault you can’t take criticism properly. That might be a problem for you if you wish to attend college since you will be thrown into a world where you will be meeting lots of people. I suggest you fix this problem that you have quickly.

This looks pretty good. I think you have a pretty good shot at making it. However, not as a put down. My friend who was perfect in terms of everything was rejected by Yale but accepted to Princeton. Definately consider the other ivies and other schools.

I’d say your chances look very good! No huge weak spots, your profile shows focus and dilligence. I think you stand a great chance but I’m just another senior so ya never know Good luck though!

yeah, I know it’s not, but my counselor said that it’s most likely that i would get it b/c my scores are way above average in NC: 223, so we’ll see.
