oh and i said "oh and" twice.

actually, make that thrice.

i want a no hands eating club! how bout feet only? actually, thats kind of gross. i should get back to work now. bye.

haha the bard lives, is ur blood blue too?

If I get into Yale, I'll start a no-silverware/no-hands eating club. It's time to set ourselves free from our utensil-ized world.

I looked at the Harvard EA thread too. Ewww!
This is why I don't want to go to Harvard!

ah Gorbachev u communist, trying to stray away from the Western style of eating with utensils i see :)

Yeah. We don't have silverware in Russia. Not so good with consumer goods, you know. But you can get something that looks kind of like a fork if you disassemble a tank. There's this little thingy right near the engine....I don't know what it is, but it looks like a fork.

in america, you eat with silverware. in russia, silverware eats you!

hello, i will probably ea to yale (though brown ED to the PLME is another option, but likely yale). o/t a bit, i've been trying to distance myself as much as possible from this site because it shrinks my ego a loooot..

well no need to distance urself from the Yale forum, since we're not posting stats here

Hey guys! Add me to the list-i spent 3 weeks at the Yale campus this summer (Exploration Summer Program) and fell in love.
Favorites:
Bands:(hmmm long list) Metallica, Nirvana, Guns'n'Roses, Helloween, Guano Apes, Linkin Park, Staind, Deftones, Evanescence, Within Temptation...you get the idea.

TV Show: None. I prefer going to the movies. Though if I absolutely have to name one, I'd say almost anything on Cartoon Network (yes, the inner kid in me is alive & kicking)

Books:(again long list) Don Quixote, Catch 22, Brave New World, Great Expectations (Dickens is my favorite author), A Separate Peace, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, All Quiet on the Western Front etc.

Movies:(oh my, i'm a movie fanatic) Trainspotting, Acid House, Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels, Star Wars (duh!), Big Fish, Heat, Pay It Forward, Once Upon a Time in America, Dead Poets Society, The Green Mile, Apocalypse Now, Forrest Gump, Sixth Sense, POTC....ok ok i'll stop.

It's not really a weird anecdote, but i tend to get obsessed with random items. I collect marbles, stickers, magnets, and cacti. Ah, and i adore dragons.

hah, no need for a sad smiley everytime u have a long list, glad to see u have a ton of interests. just means u'll add a lot to the Yale campus.

Actually I'm an idiot. I forgot to put space between : and (. I never meant to put any sad smileys there. Lol

New question:

What's your favorite ice cream flavor?

Mine is Rocky Road.

Anything chocolate.

chocolate.
no other flavor will suffice.

oh, and im a purist. no chocolate chips or brownies or nuts in my chocolate. i really have to stop posting in twos, lol

chunky monkey.
just an observation... anyuone else notice that when asked to name favorite books most people here named the ap reading list. lol, i feel like we're trying to impress eachother. well not me obviously haha i let it all hang out. you'll probably disagree, but it seems odd that every book mentioned is what others would deem a 'hard' book, or a smart persons book. surely, there are other books out there?

Since i'm feeling personally insulted by the "AP readings list" comment: my school doesn't offer ANY APs. I've never even seen that list. Even if i had, i'd never name a book only because it's recommended reading. That would be shallow and pointless.
In addition, I don't think anyone here's trying to impress. If we were, we'd all start posting our stats, ECs, and what not.
Ah,yeah, and when did liking 'hard' books become a crime?

Well, I do actually love the books I mentioned, but I must confess, I love reading comic books. And Harry Potter. And I actually just went through a phase where I reread all of my childhood books (The Chronicles of Narnia, Matilda, etc). Fabulous.

OMG, The Chronicles of Narnia! I'm SO looking forward to the movie. Sorry about the random post, but I had to say this.
