<p>Hey guys - got an email today for a Skype interview for round 2 of admissions at Yale-NUS. There is a thread for Round 1, but I thought I would start this one. Anyone got any tips? I'm an international student from Canada.</p>

I had my interview recently, and I love Yale NUS even more now. The interview was pretty casual, and very general. We spoke about me for a bit, my activities, co curriculars, and then we spoke about YNC a bit.

<p>Hey Naildat8. I don’t think you should be worried yet. As far as I understand, their interviews have just started.
From what I read of the round 1 thread, people were getting interview calls even in December. </p>
<p>Showing genuine interest is always a good idea. </p>
<p>PS: When did you submit your application?</p>

When should i expect my interviews?</p>
<p>@rew2402: i’m not sure as to the date till when yale-nus is interviewing. but have you been checking your application status account? have all your documents reached them?</p>
<p>I never got any confirmation for the Yale NUS account! O.o
I applied to Yale, and there was an option for whether I wanted to be considered for the Yale NUS And I just ticked it. But I never got that account thingy for Yale NUS, but got for Yale College! O.o
What do I do?</p>
<p>that’s strange. let me search my email for the exact subject of the mail i got from them confirming that they had received my application. </p>
<p>also, have you checked your spam? today, i found an email from harvard in my spam folder :P</p>
<p>ok so the subject of the email I received from them said “Regarding Your Application to Yale-NUS College”. But I applied just to yale-nus, not yale. I used the application specific to yale-nus. I’m not sure if that makes any difference at all, but i thought it might be worth mentioning.</p>
