Count me in. Even if I do get in, I'll go to Dartmouth (likely letter) or Harvard (if I get in). I'll let someone else's dream to attend Yale come true...

ontario. so kind of far. but still! if you don't get in to yale are you canada-ing? or have you applied to other american schools?

It's either Yale or University of Winnipeg for me :D
(I applied to Dartmouth, but won't be matriculating either way)

How about you?

Chris... Why would you pick Dartmouth over Yale? I'm going to make the opposite decision if the time comes.

aww that's exciting
i'm kind of sad and happy at the same time... because i'm for sure not staying in canada. the happy part because i've already been accepted at 3 awesome (in my opinion anyway) schools in the states, and the sad part because... i've already been accepted at 3 awesome schools in the states, haha. because it means i'm leaving all my friends here, along with a lower drinking age, igloos, etc ;) good luck with yale!! i really admire your one or the other thing. i wasn't that decisive at ALL.

I'll wait until tomorrow to join.

chiq... You'll have so much fun in the states! Where have you been accepted?

BTW drinking is so much more fun when it's illegal haha. In Manitoba the age is 18 and I really have to say it lost something the moment I became legal.

hahaha well here it's 19 and i have a late birthday anyway so i've got a while to drink illegally. probably it's more fun when it's illegal because you have nowhere to go so you end up bowling or in disney movies at theatres or just like wandering aimlessly. makes for more adventures! haha but anyway, this is probably not the place to talk about it.

back to that whole university thing... (pshh. education. pshh.) i've been accepted at tufts, pomona, and usc's school of cinema-television (not actually usc yet, interestingly enough) so now i've just got rejections left :P

My friends had planned a Spring Break trip to Canada (all of them have recently turned 18)...I wonder why ;)
(I'm only 17 - just turned 17 - so I wasn't invited...:()

haha well if they ever plan another trip to montreal what you need to understand is that in montreal NOBODY CARES. obviously some places check id but mostly it's really easy to get into bars. so go with them! don't miss out on the fun!

What I didn't mention was that the trip didn't happen. They started squabbling about who was and wasn't invited, and now two of them aren't friends with the other two. I hate high school dramatics.

oh dear. high school dramatics = no fun. my school is ridiculously clique-y, so when it comes to inviting people places you basically have to invite either every single person or like one person. SO complicated. i can't wait to get out. do people really get more mature though? i find that so difficult to believe when there's only a two month difference between high school and university.
