Yay!

I got my acceptance letter on Thursday of last week (dec 6). Yay! Go me!

Congratulations. I never doubted you. So are you committed to attending?

Sweet, got full tuition.

Congrats, and yes, I am committed to attending. =DD

Nice, any idea on a major yet?

I'm down to 4 school basically that will all be affordable, so I'll visit and see which place I feel most comfortable at.

Only thing that's bothered me about LSU so far is that if I send them an e-mail I get the most bureaucratic responses possible.

"Can you provide us with your SSN and name?"
Then I send them that...
"Can you please copy all e-mails sent?"
Then I send that and get some total BS answer that doesn't help me at all.

Wait, your friend still hasn't gotten a response yet? Did she call them or e-mail them?

Parents are on board with LSU now...

"Wait, your friend still hasn't gotten a response yet? Did she call them or e-mail them?"

Well, I knew there was something up. She decided to e-mail them, and they informed her that a new residence hall is being built for students majoring in pre-vet medicine which may require an essay or certain ACT score. It's a shame that they didn't inform her about it earlier.

As for my major, I'm not going to declare it during the first semester. I wanted to major in Microbiology, but I just want to judge what I like best from the classes I take. Right now I don't see myself leaving the realm of biology but anything is possible once I get there I guess. What about you?

I'm ready to officially commit, but my parents still want me to visit other colleges and stuff.

I plan on majoring in Mass Communications and minoring in something else, probably business. But they say people often change, so I guess that's not set in stone.
