Yet another Teacher Recommendation question...

Hello All,

So, I was looking at the Common Application online today, and now I'm extremely confused about my current situation.

I'm planning on applying Early Action, and wanted to let my teachers have plenty of notice regarding teacher rec's, so I asked one of my teachers toward the end of my Junior year. He said he would gladly did it... All he wanted was a letter detailing what I wanted him to touch on in the letter.

Much to my surprise, he gave me his letter of recommendation the next week! So, now I have his recommendation, in a nice written form, but I have NO idea what to do now!!!

Any ideas? I need to use the common app (obviously), so now I don't know what to do. I suppose I can just put this off until school starts again.. And I guess that's all I can do, but I don't know what to tell him? I feel like it was "my bad" in the first place...

So, if you can help at all, that would be AMAZING! :)

Thanks!

First, you should go back to him and explain to him that there are other parts to the Common App Teacher Evaluation of which you didn’t know.

What will happen is that he will have to fill out the Teacher Evaluation form (on paper or online) and then he will attach the letter to that.

Keep his letter in case he doesn’t have a copy of it on his computer.

Alright. That seems easy enough! Thanks a lot. :)
