The web site now says she has been admitted, and Step 5 is listed there for her to accept.
I am so happy for my daughter!

congratulations!
:)

^congratulations

cant wait till i hear fro them!

Much congratulations klparker312! When I first read the Part 5 on my son's online status asking for his acceptance decision, I let out a little yell. I was at work at the time. My office mates asked what happened and I told them I just found out my son had been accepted to A&M. They knew how important that was to us, so there were congratulations all around. It's a happy day when you get that news!

Thanks to all. We are all very excited. My husband and I are both Aggies, it means the world to us our daughter wanted to be an Aggie as well.

thats great to hear that she is going to the same school as you did!

again congratulations on her acceptance and good luck!

Congrats!! It's a great feeling to get the good news!

Congratulations!

I saw that I was admitted when I looked online also. Instead of calling up my dad and mom at work as fast as I could and giving them the news, I kept it to myself as a secret. About a week later, on my dad's birthday, I printed off the online statement of acceptance and put it inside of one of my A&M t-shirts. Then I put that shirt in a box and wrapped it as a present.

Well, he opens it last and pulls out the shirt. He sets aside the paper that I printed thinking it was a receipt. Then he looks at the t-shirt and notices that it is just one of mine. Finally I have to say "look at the paper!".

I think, for the first time, I saw him break into a few tears. :)

Thats a nice story Z4CHH...
I asked my daughter if she could get onto a computer at work - she babysits, she said no - (they are not allowed to be on any computer, TV, anything like that after school) So I just told her I had checked the web site and she had been admitted.... I got a tiny little "really?" out of her. we had been told it would be mid April before we would hear a decision on her application. My daughter is a "review admit" she is in the top 15% of her class - has a good gpa - she has taken all AP & Dual credit courses. She is taking her 2nd class on the campus of Tarleton State University - she has excellent community service hours - no sports/band/choir etc - but lots of clubs and Student Counsil. So she was an excellent candidate. But we were still surprised by the early admission decision and the acceptance into the college of architecture.

Thanks for all the congratulations!
