You guys sure you have the Math curve correct?

For the triangle problem with the multiple of ten angle and the something something, I put 45 instead of 55 and got an 800. Doesn't that mean the curve is something like
800
800
780
750
?

You can receive a -1 and still receive an 800.

omg that means i got two wrong cause i got a 780.

dude you're talking about an Oct 18th PSAT question. wrong test.

"For the triangle problem with the multiple of ten angle and the something something"

From what i've heard, this is on the experimental math section.. so it doesn't matter if you missed anything on this one.. it didn't count

no no no

-1 = 780

for sure
that musta been experimental

I had no experimental....I had experimental CR..

Then you must've gotten the question correct even if you cannot remember.

Yeah, I thought I did perfectly but I apparently made 3 mistakes and got a 750. I'm happy with my score even though it isn't quite the coveted 800.

@ DarkSideofMoon4

I know I got 1 wrong for sure. Well, anyhow, that's really strange.

^ Darkside is confused. The question he is referring to appeared on the Oct 18th PSAT which he probably took, and now he mistakenly remembers the question being on the Oct 4th SAT

That makes sense. I don't remember seeing that on the Math Test unless it was experimental.

MATH (Oct 4th,2008 SAT I)
-0= 800
-1= 780
-2= 750
-3= 730
-4= 710

1 wrong is never 800.

^ Wrong, in the January 2008, a raw score of 65-67 was 800.

^really? That's dumb. Whether you get 1 wrong or 0 wrong has nothing to do with the difficulty of the test. It's just focus.

On math, usually (on average) -1 = 790. However, -1 has been 800 several times at least (1/06, 10/06, 5/07, probably others).

On reading, -2 and better is an 800, occasionally -3 is as well (though I don't know how you can actually get a -3 on reading).

^^It can't go from 730 to 710 @ -3 and -4. I got a 720.

I got 720, almost certain that I got 2 grid in, 1 mc wrong

2grid+1mc is -3
3mc is -4

=O
