Went through ebates. Free shipping no minimum, go through ebates and they have a 10% off code and a ebates rebate of 5%. Total cost (not including ebates) 13.50.

Ok, ok, I might have bought one for myself also but still it’s a good deal lol!

mnmomof2 – I have noticed several times recently that a better deal is offered after I make my purchase. I bought a blanket from Lands End recently for $38.15. Today it is on sale – with an additional 40% off – for $17.40. Luckily, Lands End will do adjustments within 14 days.

Geminimom, how do they do price adjustments? When I called after I bought a blanket that was 30% and went to 40% off, I had such a problem! Do you call and ask for the difference to be credited to your cc?

northeastmom, I’ve emailed Lands End quite a few times over the years and asked for the difference to be refunded on the credit card I used for the initial purchase. They’ve always followed through and credited my card. Be sure to include the order number. Good luck.

I wish I knew that, re Lands End. I bought a shirt and then missed a better sale, Will keep it in mind.
I like how LLbean will replace things that don’t hold up a year later. My husband loves their turtlenecks, stay nice, don’t shrink, but one started to fray around the neck. They replaced it without question, came a day later!

Anyone have a good place to buy “beautiful, luxurious” towels or bedsheets? I don’t own a Costco card. Maybe I’ll go to Kohl’s and use their 30% off.

I recently ordered some monogrammed sheets from Horchow - I think I read about the company on this thread. The quality is great and while they weren’t cheap, I think they were a good value. I just checked and they have a good deal on Ralph Lauren towels right now with free shipping over $50.

nysmile, I went the email route for 2 seperate orders from Lands End. They already approved the refund on the 10% difference on one purchase. I am still waiting to hear regarding the other order. Emailing was the way to go IMO! Thanks!

Limabeans, I believe you can buy things at costco dot com without being a member. They will charge you 5% extra for that. At least it used to be the case.

I love Macy’s own 100% cotton Damask stripe satin wrinkle-resistant bed sheets made in Portugal. There is usually coupon codes galore on Macy’s website:

Yes, non-members can shop on Costco.com. I ordered a gift basket from there for a friend and the surcharge for non-member was $1.50. It was a $30 basket so 5% must be right.

We don’t have anywhere local for luxurious bedsheets but we’ve had good luck (both quality and price-wise) on Overstock.com. However for fleece sheets, I ended up returning the ones we ordered from overstock and buying Sunbeam brand from JC Penney which were more expensive but softer. Those are our winter luxury sheets We got for the kids last year and they’ve held up pretty well. We bought for ourselves this year, and they seem slightly less soft than what we got for the kids last year (same brand) but we’re still really enjoying them!

northeastmom, perhaps you were my source about Horchow - if so, many thanks as I am very pleased with my sheets. My H seemed surprised that I used my initials for the monogram. Now that I am an empty nester, I keep telling my family that “It’s all about me now.” And I’m only sort of joking!
