We get the Kohl’s coupons as stickers on the front of our local paper. I don’t know if it is just on the one’s delivered, but I like that they just arrive!!

Last week I got the $10 off sticker on BOTH the daily paper AND the weekly city one that just arrives at the curb (we dont subscribe to the second one, but I think we get it because we subscribe to the big city daily paper). So last week I got $20 off, plus I had my 30% off coupon, AND I got $20 back in Kohl’s cash to spend after xmas! Score!!

The week before I had a Kohls cash coupon so got a dash mount thing for my cellphone for free, AND they gave me a $10 kohls cash coupon back! So in essence they paid me $10 to take the free dash mount (which doesnt stick, btw
) and even though they admitted it was probably an error to have geiven me the Kohls cash thing back, they honored it, though begrudgingly.

** edit-- and I just cked my email-- got that $10 coupon too (and my 30% off coupon is still good through the 24th
)!

jym626- Yes, we also had the sticker on the the Neighbor paper, but we trash that, and I forgot to pull it off. I saw it on other peoples on their driveway while walking the dog.

SJChessmom, They must want you back! I just checked my e-mail and I don’t have anything from Kohls from the last couple of days.

snowball-
do you need extra coupons? Happy to share

Whoo-Hooo… I just bought $500 worth of coupons for $20 from restaurant.com…Thanks for the tip guys.

Now should I email it to myself and hand it out as gift or should I email to recipients? Some of them do not have a printer to print. Do they check names at the restaurant?

I haven’t been able to get logged in at restaurant.com - argh!

I’ve only purchased from there once so I’m not the best person to give advice on the printing and such.

aba,

I got in early and registered in the morning @6ish. I think either your browser have the wrong cache or some thing. Use another browser and try to log in/register, or clear the cache/temp file or whatever they call it in your current browser.

Not exactly a “good buy” but just got a check in the mail from our mortgage company for our new home here in New Jersey with a check for $3000! Also a $250 reduction in mortgage payment going forward – apparently our escrow was calculated wrong.

Thank you, Santa!

Wow, sewhappy, that’s a great deal of the day! Makes my mention of an Old Navy Groupon seem insignificant! [Old Navy Deal of the Day | Groupon Baltimore](http://www.groupon.com/deals/gx-nat-old-navy-us?utm_medium=email&utm_source=channel_grouponicus-deals&sid=11052521&user=f4698559fa338d1cfa3fb632b681eb515fd9a263ef9ed6e339c10ad4f2214b16&utm_campaign=11052521&s=body&d=gx-nat-old-navy-us&p=4&c=deal_button)

Wow, Sewhappy! That’s awesome! I really dislike escrow in mortgage payments. One of the mortgage companies we had in the past allowed us to pay WITHOUT having the escrow–we just paid the bills directly & paid JUST for the mortgage. That seemed much cleaner to us than having the money socked away by the lender so they could earn the float (when interest rates were above some infintesimal amount they are now).

Now you can reallocate the $250/month to something important–like a rainy day or vacation fund!

I FINALLY got my restaurant.com coupons - bought 3 different ones. Don’t know why, but one was $1.50 instead of $1…not complaining though!

Got ONE restaurant.com coupon. It cost $10 for a $25 certificate at a restaurant we have dined at that is pretty good. Have to spend $35, so for $20, will get > $35 worth of food. OK, but not THAT amazing.

HIMom, you couldn’t use the code to get it for $1???

For those of you who buy from Restaurant.com do you buy for places you dine at regularly?
I would feel guilty knowing that they are not making any money on the deal. Maybe that is why some of them have a higher min purchase amount.
I know two friends who have local businesses. One a salon and the other a restaurant. They both used Groupon. Both of them said they did it to increase their business exposure and to gain new clients. The salon owner said that she was saddened that quite a number of her loyal weekly customers bought the groupon. She was hoping to reach a wider demographic. The salon owner made no money on the groupon.
The restaurant owner had opened a 2nd location and wanted to increase business to the new location. She said the groupon did not bring in a lot of new business but that many of those who purchased it were regular customers of their other location. In the restaurants case the coupon was only good at the new location.

I have bought a total of 4 restaurant.com certificates so far (many people on here will be much more experienced!). Two were for new to me restaurants, two were to places I had been before.

I figure it’s the restaurants perogative to participate or not. They can also limit the number they sell. So if it’s offered, I figure its fair game.

What code? The one I bought said NO CODES. Yea, not sure that Groupon really helps many of the businesses and may work out more like the post above mentions than the way businesses HOPE it would.

Exclusive @GMA deal: 50 percent off photo books and prints at CVS today only. Enter the code “GMA” at check out! I’m trying to put together a Photo Book of pictures for my father-in-law from his last trip to Italy and the decisions on which photos to include are just taking too much time!

That’s a good deal! Costco has photo books @ about $25 and up, depending on size & # of pages. If you buy photo frames, the 5x7" has a $5 off coupon as well.

The code for the $25 for $1 is “JOY” and then click apply, but maybe whatever your restaurant is maybe they didn’t take a code? I haven’t noticed that…
