<p>Do you have to build up $25 on ebates before they pay you? I was going to recommend it to my son for his textbook buying, but maybe I’ll just have him go through mine.</p>

<p>mathmomvt, Ebates pays its members accrued Cash Back and other rewards every 3 months. The minimum payment amount is $5.01. Anything bought now gets paid in May.
If you already have cash accruing, and he makes textbook purchases > $125, he’ll get his cash back faster if he uses your account…</p>
<p>There’s a bonus for opening a new account though, and maybe a referral bonus, so it may still make more sense to refer him, as long as he’s going get his money eventually ;-)</p>
<p>I got my first check for $6.05 on 12/18, I signed up when we stating discussing ebates just after cyber Monday. My neighbor signed up from my referral so I have $25 pending from that. D1 signed up yesterday to get the 4% back from textbooks. I just checked my account and I now have $35.12 cash pending. Must have come some more $'s for d1 signing up. I can’t see a downside of this. Thanks to whoever recommended this! Half way to covering my Amazon Prime membership.</p>
<p>I have a little over $8 pending in my ebates account, but it’s been sitting there pending since 2007! (I haven’t used it lately since I do 99% of my online shopping on Amazon.com which usually doesn’t have any ebates.) So I wonder why they have never send me a “big fat check!”</p>
<p>Mathmomvt, look closely at your account and see if you have your address provided, have designated a check to you, etc. I signed up in 2007, totally forgot that I did and started back up in 2011 - I believe I had a few dollars sitting around in my account but I had never designated how I wanted to receive the rebate.</p>
<p>I had designated “check” but i just switched it to paypal figuring they might have a lower minimum for that or something</p>
<p>I also signed up because of CC and have about $32 in the account. My dd who signed up and gave me her referral has already received a check. What gives? Why does she get her money first? I sent them an email. I’ll update if they answer.</p>
<p>Just ordered stuff from Kohls via ebates. Still haven’t gotten an ebates confirm. Hope this works…</p>
<p>I think they send them out in stages - not everyone at once. And I did email them once and they responded back but it might have taken a day or two to get the response. Trust us, it really does work!!</p>
<p>And Counting Down, some ebates confirmations come right away (within a couple of hours) some take a couple of days - but they always come!!!</p>

<p>My “buy of the day”, is catching a purchase DH made for one of my son’s books! He actually paid $175 for a new book. I told him to cancel the order (was able to still cancel) and to order a used book in the same edition for $100 less! Yikes! I am usually the one that orders the books! Checking with DH just saved $100. Our son does not mind using a used book if saves that much money!</p>

I’ve been looking for a deal on these forever. I think they are probably seconds. Who cares? Little scratches here and there that will be completely obliterated in a month by the war wounds from my cooking!</p>
<p>I love stainless cookware because a green Scotchbrite pad and Barkeepers Friend will clean up any mess. It’s indestructable.</p>
<p>Bought D new bike at Target, free shipping with the Red Card. She loves it, and the price was right (70% off). Ordered a Kryptonite lock for from Amazon (not on sale).</p>

<p>Yes, Alice and Olivia, it has floral fenders, lime green seat, etc. It’s quirky, and just suits her. She loves the kick stand–lime green with “boots”. </p>
<p>They are available online, list as 19" but actually are 28". The bike requires some assembly, they are having fun with their joint project. D doesn’t like the belt on the basket, so she took it off.</p>
<p>Yeah!!! That bike is cute. It sounds like she will have a great time with it.</p>
