How do you think an SAT score of 1250 with 620m 630cr compares to an SAT score of 1250 with 500cr and 750m... i mean they are both 1250s so would that affect a person's chances of being accepted??

Does anyone have an answer>>>

That is a rather perplexing situation.....

the first is better, shows u are balanced and capable at both. the second one shows u are extremely weak in one area, it is best to retake if possible.

if ur score is the 2nd one, don't worry, they look at GPA more than SAT I think

it also depends wut u are majoring in... if u are majoring in something math related... then that might be something... however if u are majoring in something english related, that might hurt your chances...

well say that... i put "undecided" as a major??

I like the second choice better, but then, I are a engineer... Given that you are instate, my guess would be that the admissions folks are going to look more at the other things you bring to the table since, regardless of the balance, you have a fine score.

My score's like that (huge discrepancy between CR/W and math, but I still have a 2140), but I'm a journalism major and I even talk about how I hate numbers in my essay..hopefully it won't hurt me too much.
