Your Preparation For SAT II World History Dec 2008

you revived this old thread haha  Good times December 2008…

Oh. I didn’t even notice it was a year old.

I used Barron’s How to Prepare for the AP World History and PR’s Cracking the US History and World History Subject Tests book. Barron’s had more information, but the PR tests were harder than the Barron ones > <

^personally, Barrons missed a lot of info for this exam.

I used Kaplan’s SAT II, and I think that prepared me pretty well, though of course I don’t know exactly how I did. Only skipped one, though, and there weren’t that many I wasn’t sure about, so…

I read all of REA, Princeton, and then Kaplan (yes, in that order), the official collegeboard 2 world history practice tests, and then took the practice tests for all of them.

I believe my REA scores were 760 and then 770
My princeton review scores were abysmal, 680 and then 720
Kaplan was 700 720
collegeboard was 800 and 800

REA is way too detail oriented, princeton tests just plain suck (the review material was even worse, believe me), Kaplan review material was actually really really helpful, although the tests were very challenging.

I was a bit disappointed with the terrible scores, so I went and bought the official collegeboard one, and got 800s with a buffer of about 3 questions.

Today’s test though…><
